The Untold Lie..

Chapter 4

Aksh was still standing near the entrance of conference room 13, a camera focusing directly on him. It took the system less than a second to detect his identity, the speaker embedded with the camera asked for his pass key. ALPHA TECH 4993001....and the door unbolted very swiftly. Unlike other rooms of the facility this was a special room, commonly called as SCIF,  its specifically designed to restrict all kind of unauthorized radio and satellite communication originating from the room. Aksh reached for the scanner carefully hidden inside the door and scanned his cellphone and went inside.
The conference room was silent, there were only 4 people inside, sitting directly facing the large screen, one of them was Dr. Dutta. As soon as Aksh entered the room, Dr. Dutta who was apparently talking on phone looked at him and pointed Aksh to sit on the chair placed just next to him. Aksh could easily see the man to whom Dr. Dutta was talking to, he was Dr. Venkat from Kolkata. Aksh met him once last summer when Dr. Dutta visited Kolkata Science Society, he introduced Aksh with his longtime friend and colleague.
Aksh sat down on the designated chair, Dr. Dutta who has just got off the phone told Dr. Venkat to stay calm and that he will be escorted to RACE as soon as possible. It appeared to Aksh that Dr. Venkat was trying to say something but Dr. Dutta cut him off before he could say anything. Aksh was not sure why Dr. Dutta would do so but it was the least of his concerns he wanted to know why he has been called here urgently and why there were so many aircrafts topside.
Dr. Dutta ordered all others present to do their jobs as they have been instructed and then he called Aksh to the front desk, he was carrying an old file marked top secret, there were pages coming out of the file as if they were pushed inside in a hurry. Dr. Dutta took out a small piece of paper from his diary and asked Aksh about what he knew about the stellos project.
Aksh used to work with the space research department of RACE in his initial days and knew quite a bit about the system which consisted of numerous satellites each holding a secret inside it. These satellites once in orbit maintain no contact with the base stations and can only be directed to reenter earth by a strong radio signal targeted directly on to the satellites receiver panels. To do this this they need a loctag which points the orbit of a specific satellite accurately and thus it can be used to recover the package stored inside the satellite.
Aksh explained all he knew about the stellos project but he was still confused as to why he was inquiring about a long shut project and with most of the carrier satellites now considered as space debris. Dr. Dutta sensing the same on his face scribbled something on the piece of paper and asked him to collect as much information as he can about this project, passing the paper to him. The paper contained only four alphabets ARYA. Aksh himself enjoyed a high level of clearance but he has never seen or heard anything about this project. He left the conference room in a hurry to reach the RACE archives but as soon as he tried to close the main door the alarm started blaring, at first he was confused but he soon realized his mistake, he forgot to scan his cell phone, he scanned his cell phone again cursing himself. He himself was quite fascinated by the system which secured this whole facility,it was designed to cover each and every corner and was regularly tested by experts for any fault. He himself was one of the few who knew about the system in depth like the scanner which just scanned his cell phone for any unauthorized data that it might be carrying from inside the room. He was going for the elevator from which he has just came down but was suddenly stopped by the alarm ringing beside him….
